Try.com

I was CEO & co-founder at Try.com where we built a highly functional team of 35 people across engineering, risk management, operations, marketing and customer service. We were backed by Floodgate, Accomplice and a list of prominent angels. We pioneered Try Now, Pay Later initially with a Chrome extension for web and then a beautiful mobile experience with groundbreaking technology under the hood. Our partnership with American Express and proprietary methods of risk assessment unlocked millions of dollars of volume across any ecommerce store in the US.

As CEO I was responsible for building and leading a team across a number of functions. This gave me the opportunity to learn and hone a number of skills. We designed and built a beautiful experience that allowed customers to connect their retailer accounts to Try.com, we then created an American Express card for them, injected it into their retailer account and enabled them to Try for Free on web & iOS.
